Gasification / Incineration and RDF Production

Energy Production from Biomass / Gasification Incineration

One of the technologies in order to use the energy potential of waste which remains after the fermentation and sorting processes is the gasification-incineration method. The “synthesis gas” (syngas) that is formed during gasification process is used in energy production. Disposal of waste by gasification-incineration technology developed by ITC prevents the pollutants and ensures the achievement of zero waste target. This system can also enables the direct treatment of the waste in cities where it is not possible to establish integrated systems such as sorting and fermentation due to physical and financial reasons. Gasification incineration technology is the complementary ring of the chain to reach zero waste target. As an organization that produces its own technology, our R&D studies are ongoing in the name of improving and diversifying the solution proposals that we apply in waste management. Mamak Landfill where whole of our technological updates do take place altogether has been transformed into knowledge generation center that is visited by more than 13.000 national and international people on annual basis. In Mamak Landfill visitors are informed about “adventure of garbage” and awareness raising seminars are given especially for the schoolchildren.
